These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of MOLD, operated by Gabriel Guadarrama, doing business as DoubleG Labs ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use MOLD.
MOLD is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the app you confirm that you are at least 18. We may use age-verification signals from your device or app store and may suspend accounts that do not meet this requirement.
MOLD is a habit-coaching and self-care app for grooming, facial exercises, skincare and personal nutrition tracking. It is a wellness and lifestyle product. It is NOT a medical device and does not provide medical, dental, psychological, or professional dietary advice.
Results vary from person to person and depend on many factors outside our control. We do not promise or guarantee any specific change in your appearance, bone structure, weight, or health. Scores, progress percentages, and projections shown in the app are motivational estimates, not measured medical outcomes.
Consult a qualified professional before starting any new exercise, skincare, or nutrition routine, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take medication. Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you experience pain or discomfort. You use the routines at your own risk.
If you choose to use facial analysis, a photo you capture is processed to generate appearance scores. Processing may be performed by third-party AI providers acting on our behalf. Scores are subjective estimates for self-improvement and entertainment, not an assessment of your worth, health, or attractiveness.
Where required by applicable law (including, where relevant, BIPA, CCPA/CPRA, and the GDPR), we obtain your explicit consent before any optional facial analysis. We store photos as image files only; we do NOT create, store, or sell facial geometry templates, faceprints, embeddings, or other biometric identifiers. Only the resulting numeric scores are retained. You may withdraw consent and delete your photos at any time from Settings. Camera access is used solely for features you initiate.
The nutrition feature estimates calories and macronutrients from a photo or from data you enter, using AI and standard nutritional databases. These figures are approximations and may be inaccurate. They are not dietary, nutritional, or medical advice and should not be used to manage any medical condition (including eating disorders or diabetes). Always verify important nutrition information independently.
MOLD offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and auto-renew until cancelled. The price and billing period are shown before purchase. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your app-store account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by the app store under its policies.
You are responsible for the photos and information you add. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that depicts a person who has not consented. You retain ownership of your content and grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the features you use.
We may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account, without prior notice and without refund of any unused subscription period where permitted by law, if we determine you have violated these Terms. This includes, without limitation: attempting to manipulate, "jailbreak", or abuse the AI features to bypass safety guardrails, extract system prompts or internal instructions, or generate illegal, abusive, or harmful content; interacting with the AI in bad faith or submitting fraudulent, abusive, or harassing content; circumventing usage limits or paywalls; or engaging in unlawful conduct through the app. We may also disable accounts to protect the safety, security, or integrity of the service or other users. You may appeal a suspension by contacting us at contact@doubleglabs.com.
MOLD, including its design, animations, routines, text, and software, is owned by Gabriel Guadarrama, doing business as DoubleG Labs and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial use.
The app is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gabriel Guadarrama, doing business as DoubleG Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence, to the extent permitted, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.
