This Privacy Policy explains how MOLD ("the app"), operated by Gabriel Guadarrama, doing business as DoubleG Labs ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects your information. By using MOLD you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Account information: your email address, and if you sign in with Apple or Google, the name and identifier your provider shares with us.
Photos you submit: a facial photo for AI face analysis (optional), and food photos for AI meal/calorie estimation. These are processed to generate scores and stored as image files tied to your account so you can see your history.
Usage & profile data: your routine completions, streak, nutrition logs, water intake, goals, app settings, and language preference.
Device & diagnostic data: basic device information and lightweight diagnostic logs used to fix bugs (never shared or sold, tied only to your account for troubleshooting).
If you choose to use facial analysis, we ask for your explicit consent before any photo is processed, in line with applicable biometric privacy laws (including, where relevant, BIPA, CCPA/CPRA, and the GDPR). We store the photo itself as an image file. We do not create, store, or sell facial geometry templates, faceprints, embeddings, or other biometric identifiers — only the resulting numeric scores and the photo you submitted are retained. You can withdraw consent and delete your photos at any time from Settings.
To provide the app's core features (scores, routines, nutrition tracking), to process payments and manage your subscription, to send you notifications you've opted into, to respond to support requests, to detect abuse of the AI features, and to improve the app.
OpenAI — processes the photos you submit to generate face and meal analysis, acting on our behalf. Photos are sent for analysis only, not used by OpenAI to train their models under our agreement with them.
Google Firebase — our backend provider for authentication, data storage (Firestore/Storage), and cloud functions. Your account data and photos are stored on Firebase's infrastructure.
RevenueCat — manages subscription purchases and billing status; receives your purchase/subscription events but not your photos or health data.
Apple / Google — process in-app purchases and, if you choose, sign-in via Apple or Google.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We keep your account data and photos for as long as your account is active, so you can see your history and progress. Photos you submit for AI review may be retained in a moderation log to detect abuse of the AI features (e.g. attempts to manipulate or jailbreak the AI, or generate harmful content) and to comply with legal obligations. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent for facial analysis, and to receive a copy of your data. You can delete your account directly from the app (Profile → Delete Account), or contact us at contact@doubleglabs.com.
MOLD is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access-controlled cloud infrastructure) to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
